Haptuit

UI Design

Haptuit is an event discovery app that aggregates data from various sources into an easy-to-browse list. For this project, I led the UI and UX design using rapid prototypes built in Sketch and InVision to conduct usability testing.

My process started with examining the available data gathered by the app and categorizing into a workable taxonomy. I then developed a visual system based off that taxonomy. My system was based on material design aesthetics with cards being used to display relevant, and consistent information. I also designed 2 different views, a list and map, allowing the the user to switch back and forth in order to make decisions based on sorted data, and contextual location data.
